The first lecture and assignment for my
photo 1 classes are centered around the
chemistry of the light sensitive
materials used in photography and how
exactly they react to light.
The assignment is to create a photogram.
A photographic print created with no
camera, just objects opaque and translucent
placed on photo paper and exposed.
Here were the photograms I created
in my demonstrations.
These are pretty simplistic, but Im excited
to see what my students come up with,
a few got really excited about the potential of
this art form.
