"Time out" in AZ

My older sister Karin invited me to come down to AZ and

attend the "Time Out For Woman" conference with her.

I took Reece with me so he could help Ricky with the boys

while Kare and I spent two days and a night in Phoenix

being uplifted and instructed by wonderful speakers.

It was such a great bonding time with my sister. I look

up to her in so many ways and love her deeply. Im so

grateful for this opportunity to make memories and to

to develop an even closer relationship.

After the conference we all went out for some fun to

a local farm for some fall time/october fair activities.

There was an amazing pumpkin patch.

This was the most wonderfully creepy carousel. I loved it.

Then on the way home Reece and I decided to stop by

the Grand Canyon and continue our UT natural

monument tour. It was cloudy and cold but still

majestic.

A 20's 30th Birthday Party

I helped my friend Cassandra throw a party for her brother

Harvey's birthday. He had picked a Charlie Chaplin 20's theme.

The night was full of costume, slapstick, good food and drink, and

tons of fun.

Here is the sparkler tunnel to his giant cupcake cake

which had his nephew hiding in it waiting to pop out

and give him a surprise.

Mustaches in varying sizes and styles were provided for those

that couldn't grow their own.

Of Course Reece had no problem with the mustache.

I let Kitch barrow my brown bob wig (one of my favorites when I was

a blond) and it took awhile for everyone to figure out who she was.

She was super cute.

there were Charlie Chaplin movies playing all around.

Eric was a great bar tender serving up stylish drinks.

Then Kitch and I decided to try to imitate vintage glamour shots.

We were tired from all the festivities so we didn't try to hard.

But what we got was pretty cute.
