November 22 & Coldplay

On November 22 my exact Birthday, we were able to score some tickets to the Coldplay concert from a my good friend Barb Thornton. We went out for some great indian food at our favorite little gem of a restaurant The Himalayan Kitchen before heading to the Delta Center (Yeah I know its the ESA now but I will never be able to call it that, not after all those years of saying The Delta Center in a deep announcer voice). The show was amazing. Coldplay is made up of such talented performers and musicians. The show sounded great and the visual element was stunning.

There were giant balls hanging from above the set that would pulse different colors or display pictures. Very pretty.

Thank you Coldplay for coming down into the audience to literally get close and personal with the crowd for an acoustic version of "The scientist". Check out video.
My Favorite part would be the butterfly confetti falling during the song "Lovers in Japan".
