Here are some movies of the very interesting installations
at the Boston Museum of Art.
(the first movies I shot using my new iphone, exciting!)
The first is a bunch of people that were recorded singing
along to the entire Madonna CD which they were listening
to with earbuds in their ears. I loved this, it was endlessly
entertaining. If you got up close to any given TV you could
hear that individuals voice, it was funny to hear who was on
key and who wasn't, and it wasn't always who you expected.
The second was intriguing, one artist noticed that the
wrinkles in the conductors music resembled sound waves
that were in sync with the music. Next time I go to the
symphony with kids Ill tell them to look for this interesting
phenomena.
