Later the same night as the Harry Potter party, my friend Angie went
into labor and delivered her sweet boy Carrst. (amazing since she came
to the party and said she was feeling great)
So a few mornings later (and on my actually birthday) I visited
them in the hospital and took some portraits. It was beautiful
and joyful, a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday.
Then in the evening my sister Kitch took me out to get dinner,
pedicures, and yummy desserts at The Chocolate.
It was a perfect day.

These pictures are so tender. It is hard to capture those first moments with a newborn. What a treasure for your friend! Sounds like you had a super fun birthday weekend!
