I will most always try suggestions from fellow
teachers when teaching and a great suggestion
I got this year was to have the students shoot at least
on assignment in class while Im there to help them
use and adjust their camera and help them explore
different compositions. I brought various objects as well as
some shop lights so the students could create their own
still lifes, then those that got comfortable with
utilizing their aperture to create a selective depth of field
went out and shot their own subject matter.
